Reviews
So much better since the revamp, lots more to offer. Quality food that's not always as expensive as you'd expect. No customer toilets. Staff seem fine, mostly self checkout though. Has a decent size bakery and the cheese/picky bits counter is great. Been hitting that £10 pie and mash for 2 deal recently like a train 🚂
Read on Google MapsA great store - the largest for square footage in Scotland and a huge range of stock. Though its inability to place all of its reduced stock in 1 area not spread around the store is its downfall. Also the theft of its trolleys due to them not having locks - or coin operated systems makes the number they've lost from this West End Retail Park store pretty bad. Overall its a reat store. But it needs to clamp down more on shoplifters and trolley thefts if its to be better
Read on Google MapsWhen I was checking out at the self-service counter, an elderly female staff with glasses approached me. Without any prior explanation or polite request, she rudely opened the paper bag containing the bread I had already scanned and inspected each item one by one. This abrupt and unprofessional behavior felt like a severe intrusion and showed a complete lack of respect for me as a customer. I looked through past reviews and I find that many people have mentioned this same staff, describing her as rude and unhelpful. It was also noted that she has been working at the store for many years. This makes it clear that Marks & Spencer has seemingly ignored these repeated complaints, which is highly disappointing. I think I will formal complaint this staff and this store.
Read on Google MapsFantastic store, sporting a mind boggling selection of, everything basically. Been Sunday food shopping here for years , and was delighted when it expanded into the defunct ARGOS next door. Apparently now the second largest in Scotland after Falkirk. Also friendly helpful staff who seem to be pleased to be there, overseen by Manager Mike!
Read on Google MapsBig shoutout to the security guard today – he was incredibly polite and went out of his way to help me get a trolley. It's always nice to come across people who are so helpful and kind. Really appreciated it!
