LUCALI by Andiamo is an authentic Italian restaurant bringing the spirit of Naples to Glasgow's Southside, with locations in both Giffnock and Bearsden. The family behind Andiamo has been serving the area for 25 years, and LUCALI represents their refreshed vision, retaining the warmth and familiarity guests have loved while introducing a fresh new look and exceptional menu. What sets LUCALI apart is their commitment to using only the finest ingredients and traditional techniques. Rather than serving dried pasta, they use only fresh pasta sourced from a renowned UK supplier, ensuring each dish bursts with authentic flavour and texture. Their Neapolitan pizzas are prepared using the finest carefully sourced ingredients, creating an offering they take huge pride in delivering. LUCALI operates two locations, each with its own character. The Giffnock venue at 223 Fenwick Road is open Sun-Thu 10am-9pm and Fri-Sat 10am-9:30pm, while the Bearsden location at 151-155 Milngavie Road is open Tue-Thu 12-11pm (kitchen closes 9pm), Fri-Sat 12pm-12am (kitchen closes 10pm), and Sunday 12-11pm (kitchen closes 9pm). Both locations offer extensive menus including breakfast, lunch, a la carte, pre-theatre menus, plus dedicated gluten-free, vegan, kids, drinks, and wine menus, ensuring something for everyone. The restaurant's friendly team includes familiar faces, with some staff members having been with Andiamo for the entire 25 years of operation, ensuring that the warm, welcoming hospitality guests have come to expect continues at LUCALI. Lovely restaurant! There was a friendly and welcoming atmosphere as soon as we walked through the door. The Menu's were diverse enough, and included one for the Kids. All reasonably priced.. The food was well-presented, tasty and had generous portions. Enjoyed the cocktails. The waiters were attentive throughout our stay. Will certainly be back!

Read on Google MapsI have visited a few times before when this restaurant was Andiamos, so was keen to try when i came accross a voucher deal online. We visited for lunch and very much enjoyed our experience. Service was good. Food was excellent. We had starters of bruschetta, mushroom crostini and a plate of scallops to share. Mains, my partner had a steak and i had the seabass in a tomato caper sauce with a skewer of king prawns. All absolutely delicious. Can't fault anything. Portions were generous, my fish was really tasty, king prawns large and plump. Scallops were large and juicy. Toasted bread that came with scallops and my mushrooms were even delicious! Warm and soft with the right amount of toastiness, if that makes sense!! 😆 I have used voucher deals online before and noticed restaurants often cut back on portion sizes when dining with these offers. Lucali does not, so that was nice. I dont live near the area but will be definitely visiting again when i get the chance. Absolutely recommend this place.

Read on Google MapsThe Linguine with crab meat, lemon and chilli was divine! Pizza with ham and mushrooms also very good. Great menu with plenty of Naepolitan pizza and pasta options, focaccia, and more. Would definitely go back and try more dishes!
