Overview

Meet 800 Degrees Giffnock, the pizza joint that's hotter than your neighbour's gossip and beloved by basically everyone in the Southside. Located at 1a Station Road, this place has somehow managed to rack up an impressive 4.1-star rating from 129 reviews, which in Giffnock terms means they must be doing something seriously right with their pizza game. The name says it all – these folks are cooking at temperatures that would make your oven weep with inadequacy. We're talking about pizza that's been lovingly scorched in traditional wood-fired ovens (or the modern equivalent that can melt your face off), creating that perfect balance of crispy crust on the outside and fluffy, cloud-like dough on the inside. They've got all the classics you'd expect – margherita for the purists, pepperoni for the carnivores, and probably some wild combos that make you wonder "but does pineapple actually belong?" (Spoiler: yes, fight me.) What makes 800 Degrees special isn't just the pizza – though let's be honest, that's the main event. It's the whole vibe. You can order online for delivery or pickup, which means your Saturday night can involve pyjamas, pizza, and zero judgement. Their location on Station Road means you're never too far away when that inevitable 8pm craving hits (we've all been there, no shame). Whether you're feeding a hangry household or treating yourself after surviving another week of adult responsibilities, 800 Degrees is there with dough, cheese, and absolutely zero complications. In a world full of complicated food decisions, 800 Degrees makes it simple: good pizza, done well, delivered hot. Sometimes that's exactly what life needs.

Been here a few times now so thought I would give my opinion. Very friendly cooked to perfection and at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend as the best pizza place in the area. You always get a good bit of banter from the two boys who make you very welcome. If you order on line it will be cooked in front of you as you wait. The Foccacia Pomadoro is worth ordering. Highly recommended

Ordered from 800 Degrees the other night. I have never tried an Italian pizza before, I usually just go simple cheese and tomato, so I got the standard with the buffalo mozzarella. It was nice, but It was abit too tomatoey and could have done with more cheese but I know that's not how the Italian pizzas roll! Chicken strips, were juicy and cooked to perfection and went well with the curly fries 😋 The delivery guy showed up 30 mins early! Fast considering I am in East Kilbride and 800 Degrees is in Giffnock. Would definitely try again with something else!

I went in for 3 pizzas for my nephew's birthday and the staff were absolutely lovely and even through in some free chips and mozzarella sticks when I told them it was my nephews 16th. Lovely staff and some of the freshest tasting pizza's I have ever had and also the home made mozzerra stick ARE A MUST TRY!!

It’s a takeaway, so no atmosphere rating. Service is similarly hard to quantify. However, and I am reluctant to do this, but the truth does matter, the pizzas I ordered were undercooked. The dough was still raw and cold. I know a little about cooking pizza, so balancing the heat of the oven against the toppings and the temperature of the dough is the key skill for the chef. This has happened before but I forgave them because I thought it was a one-off error and didn’t commit to an online review. Well, I have now.
