I loved my visit to Ga Ga Kitchen. The crispy potatoes were a standout, some of the best I’ve ever had, especially with the unreal curry leaf mayo. The fried chicken and prawn bao were both excellent, and the nasi goreng was full of flavour with fresh summer greens. The chicken curry was rich and the oyster mushrooms had great crunch and depth, imo just slightly on the salty side but still delicious. The only miss for me was the tiger prawns, as I didn’t love the sauce. The coconut creme brulee was unreal. Overall, a fantastic meal. In my opinion, maybe not the best in terms of value for money but overall pretty good. Meal for two was ~£120. I would definitely return!

This place is amazing! We had a gift voucher to use so we took our 9 year old daughter with us. The menu is limited but do not let that put you off. My husband and I chose 2 dishes each which we both shared and my daughter chose from the kids menu. We also had desserts as can be seen in the attached photo. The food was 10/10. The service was exceptional. The owner and the manager are both lovely. We will definitely go back.

The scallop starter was served cold with a sweet-and-sour flavour. I had expected the texture to be firm, but it was in fact soft and pleasantly tender. The fruit salad looked attractive and tasted decent, with slices of apple, melon, dried tofu cubes and red onion. The fried squid pieces were far too salty — I would have preferred to dispense salt myself. The prawn and crabmeat bun was delicious, with a crisp, golden exterior reminiscent of deep-fried Chinese buns. The pan-fried sea bream was cooked to perfection: the skin slightly crisp yet intact, and the flesh moist and tender, with excellent flavour. The Indonesian soy sauce fried rice was also very good. By the way, the environment is much nicer and cleaner than most dining places in Glasgow. And staff are also friendly. Better to get pre-booked.

Excellent experience, great food. All dishes are delicious. The scallops are tasty, the fried chicken is delicious. Cabbage percik is super and the authentic nasi goreng. Don’t miss the poached pears dessert.

This fantastic gem. The Malaysian flavours through the dishes are amazing. The staff were very helpful and polite. I strongly recommend GaGa to anyone who wants to experience an amazing Malaysian food flavour explosion.
