Curry Cottage is a family-run Indian restaurant at 91 Cambridge Street, opened 7 October 2021 by chef Pratap Negi and his wife Kavita after pandemic home deliveries and a previous Buccleuch Street curry shop (Glasgow Times). It won New Restaurant of the Year at the Scottish Curry Awards 2022 — enough that MPs tabled an Early Day Motion congratulating the team. The kitchen leans home-style: spice blends ground in-house, slow curries, tandoor dishes, keema aloo and a much-touted goat curry, plus vegan choices. Halal meat is stated on the menu. Lunch is two courses for £12.95 Monday–Friday; dinner is à la carte with Indian beer, wine and mango lassi. Book online (no deposit) or call 0141 258 3546 for parties over 20. Open Mon–Fri noon–10pm, Sat–Sun 1–11pm. Cowcaddens subway and Sauchiehall Street are a short walk.

What a cute little restaurant! Food was extraordinary good, perfectly spiced to our taste, chicken and meat cooked to perfection! Would highly recommend to ANYONE to eat here, we will most definitely come back! Also, the lady serving us was so friendly and nice, you feel right at home. Even tho the restaurant was a little crowded (as to be expected on a Saturday night), we still loved the ambiance and felt very cozy. Definitely give it a try if you’re a lover of Indian food as we are (or in general to give your spice buds something exotic to try 😋) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Everything was amazing, from the food to the service. Such a lovely environment; everyone working is so kind. I had the butter chicken and peshwari naan, and it was very delicious. Highly recommend!

Had a fantastic birthday dinner at curry cottage! I love coming here for a more intimate experience and not only was the food fantastic as always, they also brought out a cake and gave me a £10 voucher for my next visit. Lovely staff and amazing food 💕
