Can't believe I travelled 20 miles round trip to waste my money and time here. If something seems too good to be true - it usually is. I asked for my normal split pudding & chips. Always split, THEN battered before cooking. NOT today. They took one that was lying in the fish rack, split it with a knife (which I could've done) gave me some dried up chips and left me with it. 55 years I've worked in Chip Shops so I know what I'm talking about. Amateurish, as the time and money he saved with me, has cost him £100 monthly sales. Lost customer, and for what?

have been here many times never had a bad meal yet food amazing shout out to Margaret who is just the best this has become a regular place for me today i had an all day breakfast which was just brilliant great value for money again shout out to Maggie who is just the best 5*

Asked if they still do a fish tea as been getting them here for years but isn’t on the menu anymore . Got told yes was asked if I want salad and bread and butter said yes then I was told I would have to buy the tea separate as this wasn’t part of the fish TEA so didn’t bother I know it’s only another £2.50 but not the point .

Great place for to get something to eat it's a shame that it's going to close soon

Excellent value and good portion, maybe even a bit too big. Happy to accommodate special requests within reason. Would happily eat again.
