What People Are Saying
Toni's Pizzeria offers pizza and takeout options, receiving mixed reviews that reflect both strengths when quality standards are met and significant concerns about consistency. The pizzeria has been described as top notch and some of the best takeout pizza in Glasgow when operating well, though quality consistency issues have been raised by some reviewers.
The food at Toni's receives positive feedback when quality standards are met, with pizzas described as top notch, amazing, some of the best takeout pizza in Glasgow, incredible quality, full of flavour, very well cooked, and yummy. Specific pizzas receive particular acclaim, with the Fungie (mushroom pizza) described as full of flavour and very well cooked, the BBQ described as yummy, and the meat feast described as excellent. The loaded special fries receive positive feedback for nice portion size. The food quality is such that one reviewer who is not a pizza fan noted they'll definitely come back after trying the Fungie.
However, there have been significant quality consistency issues reported. Reviewers have described pizzas as genuinely super disappointing, worst pizza they've had, and worst in Glasgow by far. Specific issues include missing items (burrata ordered but missing), pizzas being smaller than advertised (ordered 12" but received small), and quality problems including chips being soggy with cheese having a strange tang, Tropicana being bland and so chewy it made jaw hurt, and Detroit style pepperoni being described as just a slab of bread with next to no sauce, oily, with bread that was dense and claggy. There have also been issues with seasoning, with one reviewer noting that whoever made their pizza emptied what looks like a full tub of oregano and black pepper over the pizza, ruining the meal. The mac and cheese has been described as not looking anything like the picture and being bland and disappointing.
Service at Toni's receives generally positive feedback, with staff described as top service, good service, and incredibly friendly. The counter staff receive positive feedback, contributing to positive experiences.
The pizzeria's popularity is evident from how busy it can get, with reviewers noting they can see why it's so busy, suggesting appeal when quality is consistent.
Value perception varies, with some reviewers finding the food worth it, while others note paying nearly £40 for a disappointing experience, suggesting value may not always match expectations, particularly when quality issues occur.
For visitors to Glasgow, Toni's offers pizza and takeout that can be top notch and some of the best when quality standards are met. The pizzeria's ability to deliver amazing pizza, good service, and friendly staff has earned it positive recommendations from some reviewers. However, there have been significant quality consistency issues reported, including missing items, incorrect sizes, and quality problems that have led some reviewers to describe it as the worst in Glasgow. The combination of generally good food when quality is consistent, but significant consistency concerns, makes it a mixed experience, and the pizzeria would benefit from addressing quality control, ensuring order accuracy, and maintaining consistent preparation standards to ensure all guests have positive experiences.

Read on Google MapsAmazing pizza, some of the best takeout pizza I've had in glasgow. Service was good as well, staff incredibly friendly. Was very disappointed with the mac and cheese however, didn't look anything like the picture and was bland and disappointing (pictured). However, do try the pizza its is incredible quality.
Read on Google MapsPizzas genuinely super disappointing Been wanting to try this for a while and decided to try tonight. Ordered burrata for a pizza? Missing Ordered 12”? Small -both pizzas were smaller than advertised Dips were decent but paying nearly £40 for this is absolutely honking Ordered around 8ish so I wouldn’t expect things to be running low yet either. Doubt I’ll be trying again.
Read on Google MapsRegularly eat from Toni’s but this time was the worst pizza I’ve had ordered pizza with oregano and black pepper and whoever made it has emptied what looks to be a full tub over the pizza. Ruined meal.
Read on Google MapsGenuinely wish I’d have saved the money and gone elsewhere. The chips were soggy and the cheese on them had a strange tang. The Tropicana was bland and so chewy it made my jaw hurt. My partners Detroit style pepperoni pizza was the worst in Glasgow by far, was just a slab of bread with next to no sauce and oily as hell. The bread was dense and claggy, we’re both so disappointed after hearing good reviews, the only good thing were the cans of juice.
