Great service and food, the staff were very attentive. The lunch menu was value for money. Can recommend the bruschetta, the bread was fantastic.

Ristorante Pieno is a family-run Italian restaurant on Hope Street. The family began with Caffè Pieno, a small café in Jordanhill, in 2017 and opened the restaurant in 2021. Six of them work there together, and the name means "full" in Italian. It's open daily from 12pm to 9pm. The menu covers Italian classics: 12-inch stone-baked pizzas from £12.95, pasta and risotto from £12.45 to £20.95, and chicken, fish and steak mains up to £39.95 for the Filetto Pieno. The head chef's own dish is Tagliatelle della Casa, and tiramisu is a house favourite. Lunch runs daily from 12pm to 3.30pm at £12.45 for one course, £18.95 for two or £23.95 for three. Pre-theatre runs Sunday to Thursday from 4.30pm to 6.30pm at £23.95 for two courses or £29.95 for three. It has been on several award lists. Pieno won Best Restaurant at the 2025 Scottish Business Awards and was Highly Commended for Best Restaurant in Glasgow at the 2024 Scottish Restaurant Awards. It was also named Glasgow Restaurant of the Year in 2022 and 2023. Booking is recommended. Gluten-free pasta and vegan mozzarella are available for a £2 supplement.

My favourite restaurant, food never disappoints. We always choose Pieno, when going to theatre shows. I would highly recommend bruschetta caprese, best ever. The lobster Ravioli is delicious. Staff are so friendly and welcoming,cant do enough for you. Italian is my go to and I have eaten in many in Glasgow,but Pieno is on a different level in all categories

The food was good the service wasn't. They gave us the smallest cup of water and looking around the other guests had large cups so I don't know what that was about. Felt like they were looking down on us.

Superb food, atmosphere and super helpful staff. It really made our weekend to have the very best Italian food. Their tiramisu was voted the best they’d ever tasted by our group! Can’t recommend this highly enough. We’ll be back 😊😊

Lovely restaurant with fantastic atmosphere. Popped in for a pretheatre before going to the opera. We needed a quick turn around and the restaurant was able to accomodate this no problem. The food was generous in size and delicious. We will definately come back here again and would highly recommend to all.
