Went there for a quick bite. Had the chilly paneer and masala tea. To be honest the taste was good and the paneer pieces were way too hard and i would say not enough veggies on the plate. Expected atleast 2-3 more pieces of onions and capsicums. The only thing that stole the show was masala tea. Genuinely if it wasn’t for that i would have left very disappointed. Next time will try something else but otherwise cute little place with good food nevertheless. Tea is 10 star.
Read on Google MapsThis restaurant is a fantastic find for anyone looking for authentic North Indian food at a budget-friendly price. The menu offers a great variety of dishes that are rich in flavor, made with quality ingredients, and prepared with traditional cooking techniques. Compared to many other Indian restaurants I’ve tried, the taste and overall food quality here are noticeably better. Each dish is well-balanced, flavorful, and truly captures the essence of North Indian cuisine, making it a satisfying experience for both regular diners and first-time visitors. The service here is efficient and friendly, with staff who are attentive and respectful without being intrusive. Whether you’re dining alone or with a group, they make sure you feel welcome and well taken care of. One feature that makes this place even more versatile is their banquet hall, which is ideal for small-scale gatherings and celebrations. We hosted our Christmas party here with a group of around 40 people, and it was an excellent experience. The team managed everything smoothly, from the food to the seating arrangements, and everyone had a great time. I’ve also visited this restaurant for dinner with friends and always enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Additionally, they offer a variety of Indian street food options, which adds even more to the overall experience. Highly recommended for both regular dining and events!
Read on Google MapsVisited the masala twist in Glasgow with friends for dinner. Lot of let downs : 1.masala chai though freshly prepared didn’t have any masala not even ginger added. 2. The paneer chilli didn’t seem to be made the way it’s supposed to be. Also It seemed like heated up in microwave and served. Taste was disappointing. Attached pic. 3. Ordered pav bhaji which was a huge disappointment. The bhaji had no spices in it at all. Looked like having pav with some curry served. Atleast pav bhaji masala should have been added for flavour one expectes.attached pic. 4. The mains paneer lababdar and dal makhni were just okay. Serving North Indian food and yet the flavours are missing. There was one mutton curry ordered which had too much tomato added. There is some balancing required in the bringing flavours. 5. Chhole kulche had some the kulcha which was basically a naan stuffed with onions. Tasted good but kulcha is not what was served.attached pic Tasted good: 1. The chhole bhature were good. 2. Gulab jamun with ice cream was good. 3. Poppadams were good with the dips. 4. Manchurian tasted okay.
Read on Google MapsOh, a flavour bomb of a menu! Lovely menu, super tasty food and the cutest, friendliest, courteous staff! Highly recommend the place. We had a mix of items from the street food section and none disappointed! They even whipped up desi style noodles for us which wasn’t listed on the menu & it was fantastic! The decor reflected traditional Indian artistry and was brightly lit! Must visit!
Read on Google MapsNice curry not the greatest. Really enjoyed the samosa chaat. The lamb chops were quite thick, cooked rare so different to how I’ve had them before where they’re usually thin and crispy. So they were good, some nice flavours but lacking a bit of flavour or char. The railway lamb was recommended and it was cooked nicely, the meat was very nice as were the potatoes but the curry lacked any heat and a bit of depth. Huge naan bread and paratha was ok.
