Our first meal in Scotland wasn’t what you’d expect—but it turned out to be unforgettable. After a bit of research, we landed at what looked like a truly authentic Chinese restaurant tucked into the city of Glasgow. And let me tell you—it delivered. We ordered a spread: hot & sour soup, mixed roast duck, pork belly, BBQ pork, fried rice, dim sum, and Chinese cabbage with garlic sauce. Everything was excellent. The roast duck stood out most—moist, flavorful, and beautifully roasted. The cabbage still had a crisp bite to it, and the garlic sauce struck a perfect balance. Even the fried rice, something often overlooked, was aromatic and distinct. From start to finish, it was a delicious and satisfying beginning to our time in Scotland. Not the traditional haggis or meat pie… but no regrets here. 🥢
Read on Google MapsGood spot to go if you’re looking for Cantonese dim sum. We got a few classics dishes to share and food was pretty good. Highlights for me were the siu mai, savoury meat croquettes and Cheung fun. Price is a bit high I think. Also it’s cash only.
Read on Google MapsI’ve been here for dinner for the first time after my sister recommended to give it a try. The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived and I was already doubting about the food. We ordered a steamed sea bass, a baked king prawns with salt and chili, a beef in black pepper sauce, a fried rice, two soups and a side dish. The food was quite good and so the quality of the ingredients. I really liked the beef and the king prawns. Service was friendly and the bill was fair considering what we had. I’ll come to try the dim sum next time
Read on Google MapsHaven't been here for many years. It was good to come back here. Brought my friend here today. By far the best dim sums. We thoroughly enjoyed every dim sums and Chinese jasmine tea. Definitely coming back again. We went in for lunch today 12th March. We ordered beef crispy noodles. It was delicious. We ordered fried prawns wrapped, prawns dim mai and steamed bean curd wrapped.
Read on Google MapsWhether it is Sunday Dim Sum for lunch or dinner this remains the best Chinese restaurant in Glasgow by far. The menu has new innovative additions which is well worth trying and prices remain reasonable. Do expect the final bill to be on par with the likes of Wagamama for a family of 4 ordering a few starter/mains. Overall, still very good value for money.
