Hilton’s hotel dining page names it as the hotel’s restaurant (Scottish fare with a twist) alongside Cask Bar for craft beer; the venue’s own brand site is caskrestaurants.co.uk/cask-clyde/. Phone 0141 332 3311 and email caskandclyde@dtglasgowcentral.com match the hotel number and DoubleTree domain. The Cask Restaurants site currently lists only this Glasgow location under Restaurants — there are no sister Cask & Clyde (or other Cask Restaurants) branches to confuse with unrelated “Cask” pubs elsewhere. The pitch is contemporary Scottish hotel dining: hearty classics, seafood and sharing plates, afternoon tea, cocktails and beer, plus live music every Friday and Saturday from 8pm. This restaurant is famous for Sunday through Thursday steak deal. You need to do a hard pass especially if you are an American or from the new world. You will be greatly disappointed. That is unless you enjoy a tough cut of meat. It is well presented, check out the pics. The checks come with a service charge which is a tip. I have not tried the other restaurant entree, I can only speak of the special steak dinner - pass, pass, pass, pass, pass, pass.

The salmon was perfectly done and the sticky toffee dessert was devine. Thanks for the spot on directions to our concert venue too Stephanie! We made it!
