Bloc+ at 117 Bath Street is an independent live-music bar and eatery run by Balkan Proof Ltd: bands and DJs seven nights a week, generally free entry, in a casual city-centre room that stays open late (CAMRA lists 11am–3am daily). Food sits somewhere between pub grub and diner comfort — burgers, hot dogs, Tex-Mex, mac and cheese, poutine — with a dedicated vegan and veggie menu alongside meat options. Takeaway runs roughly midday to 10pm Sun–Thu and until about 11:45pm Fri–Sat. Daily deals show up on the site; prices are inexpensive by city-centre standards. For tables of six or more, email hello@bloc.ru ideally 24 hours ahead (no deposit). Smaller groups walk in. Expect noise once gigs start; this is a venue first, restaurant second. Buchanan Street Subway is about 5–10 minutes on foot.

Weekend specials at blocglasgow include Salt & Chilli Oyster Mushrooms (£6), Black Forest Gateau Tenders (£9), and Doner Kebab Tenders (£9), all available only this weekend. A separate dish featuring beef and vegetables is also available.

Bloc Glasgow is celebrating 25 years with a special offer: 50% off all main meals and burgers every Sunday in August, starting Sunday 2nd August. The promotion includes dishes like the Korean Seitan Burger and various other menu items.
Played here with my band, and it was one of the best run venues I've played so far. Food was very nice (and really cheap), beer was reasonably priced, and the crowd were spectacular. Never played Scotland before but if they're all as good as Bloc+ I think I might move up there.

Read on Google MapsAwesome atmosphere, enormous vegan selection of food. My friend and I shared the vegan loaded hot dog, seitan gyro, seitan popcorn chicken, and vegan Mac and cheese, and all were amazing. The homemade seitan was incredible, and brilliant prices for huge portions!

Read on Google MapsThis place is just so awesome and I would definitely say a MUST when visiting Glasgow. Amazing food, the most genuine friendly service with no unnecessary fuss or pomp. May have to wait for a table as it gets very busy due to being a small restaurant, but its worth the wait. Will be making a beeline for bloc on our next visit.
