Beechwood

This is probably my favourite pub in the south side of the city. I come here maybe once every other week to enjoy a cigar in the beer garden as they have a sheltered area with heat lamps so it’s great to sit out here, no matter the weather! I have always found that the staff are really welcoming, friendly and kind and service is always quick, even on the busier times such as Friday and Saturday night! This pub has a great selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, alongside a great food menu with huge variety of different cooked foods for a great price! I had the macaroni and cheese which was cooked perfectly and served within 10-15 minutes of ordering. If you’re looking for a friendly pub, great affordable food and drinks options, bus stops right by the door and a train stop within a 5 minutes walk, then I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great evening!! Large bar/restaurant. It's a Greene King bar with a similar menu to other such restaurants. App to order from your table. The bacon and blue burger was great. Okay Sunday roast. Nice design and look. Bathrooms could use some updating and better attention. A lot of TVs to watch sports on.

We walked into the Beechwood for food n drinks before heading up to Hampden for the Foos concert. Cannot fault this place! The staff were brilliant; helpful n friendly. Atmosphere n music being played was just right. We walked in to a gently busy bar, ordered drinks n food. Food was served quickly, well presented, decent portions n really tasty. When we left the bar n beer garden was heaving but the staff had it well under control. I would definitely recommend this place n I'd use it again on my way to a concert. Wish my local was just like this. 👌🏼

Been here 3 times we come From Renfrew but this place has it all. All food served pipping hot. Never leave hungry I will always come back. Definitely a fan of the food. Drinks are good price very well run love this place. Karaoke is always great too.

Was there for an event with my partners family. However the room was unnecessarily hot in there was no air-conditioning, the adults were sweating profusely my sons clothing was drenched through completely he has to sit there in his nappy because of the heat. Upon asking the bar staff if there was any ventilation, any air-conditioning she said she didn't know she's only worked there a year.....I proceed to ask if she could find someone who could answer the question, she later came back and said there's no ventilation and the fuse has blown for the air conditioning. Hopefully this gets fixed but please people be aware before making a booking it was a tortuous night with the sheer heat.
