Very good traditional chippy. Small old-fashioned booths, walls covered in historic pictures and posters, friendly staff. They accept cash and cards. We ordered 2 small fish teas and a curry sauce and o-m-g it was a lot. It came with tea, milk and a buttered piece of bread too. Superb value for money, £18.50 for two in total and I couldn't finish my chips (they were great I just was full). Thank you!

The restaurant is a must-go if you are in Glasgow. It has a 1950s vibe, and the owner himself is from 50s, continuing his farther’s fish and chips business from the 1920s. The business has witnessed the history of Glasgow. The food is amazing good, in taste, quality and value. It’s easy to tell that the restaurant makes its own chips from scratch, and which gives the food also an old-school, home-made touch to it. The experience is fantastic and priceless.

Spotlight of my day was a man serving me my dinner - really welcoming and friendly demeanour right as you walk in, that instantly puts you at ease. It wasn’t fake “customer service” nice, it was the kind of warmth that makes you feel like you’ve just walked into a family member’s kitchen. And of course the fish supper fed me well! Thank you again and I’ll come back for that feeling, old school vibe and yummy food!
