Thundercat Pub + Diner

We came here for part of a night out and we did have a table booked which i think due to certain times in the evening is the best idea as it got busy but the place is gorgeous, my hubby and brother enjoyed the food and raved about the deep dish pizza. I did think their gluten free menu could have had more as had the chicken tenders but were average. The staff were were lovely and would visit again

Thought we would try this place as it got so many write ups, was left so disappointed. First thing was it’s so cramped in the place wasn’t very good to wait for a table kept having to move due to staff and other people walking past. Second thing was service was really good when it was busy but when it calmed down for some reason the staff were a lot slower. Took 25 mins for our meals to come out which I can cope with but when you order food you expect it to be warm, I ordered the waffle Mac & cheese with chicken with a side of tater tots both were not even warm the waffle was under cooked and the taters were soggy when you put parsley on top as a garnish at least use fresh and not the one in the jar so cheap you should also say instead of fried chicken (fried chicken strips) Mac and cheese was so dry as well. My wife ordered the beef sandwich you expect a sandwich and not a baguette with big slices of beef not very warm either and for the loaded buffalo chicken and cheese we didnt expect boiled chicken and some sauce on top of the cheese I expected the chicken to have the sauce on it. It was very warm so at least one thing was warm. Coke was flat Very loud inside the place Just very disappointed from the beginning to the end. Would defo not recommend this place

📍Place: located in the downtown in a basement - huge area with lots of seats, but you should definitely book for dinner because it gets completely full. I was just lucky I could have a table for myself next to the entrance without a reservation. 🍛 Food: it took me quite a while to make a decision and as I was by myself of course I ordered too much. So be prepared, portions are big. I had some crispy tater tots wit spicy sauce, garlic & parmesan, and a very juicy BBQ pulled pork Mac n cheese. They were very tasty, freshly prepared, I paid around £20 for them. 👩🏻‍🍳 Service: despite of the big rush, they are very kind and attentive, food comes quickly, great service!

My God, I have never eaten pizza with a knife and fork in my life but had no option, what a feed, had to take half of it home as I didn't want to waste any of it. Wish I had shared it. my eyes were bigger than my belly( and that's some feat) great service and made to feel really welcome. 100% would absolutely recommend especially the burnt ends. Only had the one cocktail as I was too full.

Wasn’t going to do this publicly but since they have just ignored my email why not, maybe save people making the same mistake we did. Firstly food and setting are amazing so got to give them that, cocktails also very good. Downfall, massive signs all over the place saying 40% off ALL cocktails (no exclusions mentioned) Monday-Thursday. Ordered from their lunch special menu and in the smallest font ever it says cocktail not included in 40% off deal. Bit unfair and have pictures to prove same. Never thought the time would Come when I would have to read small print before buying a drink…very cheeky.
