Really nice place to eat. Food looked and tasted great, staff where nice I would recommend a visit but I was let down by the staff when my fiancé wasn't given her birthday treat from the restaurant when I phoned and planned before us going. They confirmed chocolate treats for her. Didn't put a downer on the night but it was supposed to be marked with our booking. Hey ho. Place also automatic gives a 10% service charge

Absolutely beautiful food. One of the best pasta’s I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Great value for money. The staff were excellent. They went well beyond the call of duty and were just lovely. I had a little concern over the wine but they were very good. Definitely coming back. Recommended.

Superb food and extensive menu, and proper flame grilled pizza oven. Very busy, recommend booking. We were kept waiting for our reservation but was a busy Saturday night, and they gave us complimentary focaccia which was excellent 👌. Attentive staff, definitely returning

This busy restaurant is located near the Merchant City area in Ingham Street. The seafood ravioli spaghetti carbonara were excellent as was the service, staff, decor, vibe, the works. Highly recommended this restaurant. 👍👍👍

Disappointing Experience – Good Food, Poor Service A great restaurant is judged by three key things: service, food quality, and ambiance (along with cleanliness and pricing). Unfortunately, The Italian Kitchen fell short in multiple areas. We ordered drinks, a starter, and main courses, but everything arrived at almost the same time. When we asked the server to bring the starter later, we were told, "We can't do that." The food itself was good, but the rushed service and lack of flexibility spoiled the whole experience. For the high prices, we expected better hospitality—instead, we felt like we were dining at a fast-food joint, finishing our meal in just 30 minutes. Good food isn’t enough when the service fails. Won’t be returning.
