Rainbow Chinese Takeaway

I ordered via uber eats and the food came within time. With voucher and discount the whole order including delivery was 25 pounds. Food came hot and looked great. It tasted great and the portion size was generous. I have attached pictures!

We probably waited around 2 hours until we eventually received our food, from the time we ordered on Uber Eats, until when we received it. We also had no updates on Uber Eats to tell us when we would be receiving it and we actually had to request an update! During that time, we phoned twice to check up on when we would be receiving it and both of those occasions, we were told it was just about to leave and would be delivered soon. Also, the number given to call on Uber Eats was a personal phone number of someone who worked there and not the actual restaurant. Anytime we did call, it rang out or went to voicemail. The 2nd time we successfully called and managed to get through, we were told it was due to leave in 5 mins and then it wasn't too far from us in terms of distance. It was around 20 mins after that call that we finally received it. When we did, it wasn't overly hot and the carton with the salt and chilli chips was about half full. The food was nice, but not nice enough to be waiting that amount of time! Not happy at all, ridiculous amount of time to wait for an order that only consisted of a few things! For over £20 worth of food, we also expected prawn crackers. Not worth the money, the wait or the food!

Made order. Payment taken, waited an hour for food to arrive, when phoned to chase the order I was told it was cancelled. Why not send a notification earlier so I can order elsewhere?

First time ordering from here (ordered on just eat) & we must say it was a heavenly experience. 10/10 Chinese takeaway food. We can't fault it. Got sweet N sour chicken & chicken curry which were amazing. Chips and fried rice were perfect. Spicy chicken noodle soup was next level. Got free spring rolls and prawn crackers. Pricing was all v reasonable & the portions were huge. They also have a wide variety menu, something for everyone. Pretty convinced this will be our new go to Chinese takeaway!

Worst ever chicken chowmain ever, extremely dry about 10 tiny bits of meat that was surpossed to be chicken. Salt and pepper chips tasted of curry, disgusting. All in the bin within 10 minutes of arrival. Would absolutely not recommend even if your starving and it's the only place open.
