Pulcinella is a traditional Italian restaurant at 167 Hope Street in Glasgow city centre — pizza, pasta, seafood, meat and a vegetarian menu at approachable prices. The room is cosy with red-and-white gingham, frescoes and lemon walls; kitchens use fresh local produce. Pre-theatre and lunch menus are available, with vegetarian and gluten-free options. Been here many times over the years and never been disappointed. Doesn't look much from outside but the the attraction as not one of those corporate looking restaurants. It's just Italian done simple. Give it a try....

Read on Google MapsPopped in as a wee had just arrived and wanted some filling and comforting for lunch and we were not disappointed. Service here was friendly and welcoming followed by some of the best Italian cooking we have had in a long time! I had the chicken with mushrooms and a creamy sauce, this arrived with beautiful fresh vegetables. The atmosphere was again friendly and chilled. My teenager loves the macaroni and profiteroles, I hada delicious coffee as no room for pudding. We are only here a short time but plan to try and fit in another visit. Prices are brilliant too!
