New Happy Eat Chinese Takeaway

I had a takeaway in this place a couple of years ago and it was good. I don't know if this place had now changed hands, but wasn't a good experience this time. Ordered over the phone, when I went to collect she couldn't find my order. Eventually found it and when I got home the girl had been on the phone to my partner to ask if it was a collection or delivery she had ordered, even though it had already been picked up. Just putting meals on plates when she phoned again, think we might of mixed your meals up, what did you order, erm no that's right, everything is right, erm ok then... If that was a beef satay it was the most tastless watery one I've ever had the displeasure of eating, was tasteless, more like watery gravy, it was swimming (see photos). Salt and chilli chips were also tasteless, was more just like ordinary chips with onions on top. Both were nothing like how they are at any other takeaway. The veg sweet and sour was ok though. All in all, a ruined dinner, really disappointed....

Best Chinese food I’ve had in a while! Great addition to the area - also very quick delivery. Chicken foo young was delicious.

I have had several lunchtime specials in happy eat and decided to drive up at the weekend I got the extra hot chicken breast curry with fried rice it was outstanding and what a fantastic portion also I kept a wee bit of it for lunch on Saturday afternoon I will certainly be back soon top quality food and fast service with friendly staff

My kid received a free dead spider in his chips at lunchtime today. OMG 😲 people watch out. Absolutely not spreading anything. I'm warning the general public about what my kid found in his chips at lunchtime today. All his friends saw this he was too scared to come back with it and threw it away. I've told him to take pictures of anything wrong with his food in the future from everywhere 🙄 he is 12, and I have never ordered anything from you, so I believe my son. Sorry, it really makes me feel sick as to how takeaways store their food or how trading standards or the food standard agency might see this 🤔 how long have you been waiting on a inspection from just eat to inspect your premises for food hygiene? Obviously, the council has never inspected the place.

we ordered from über eats and put in the wrong address i called the restaurant and asked if they could update the driver :) our food came and it was delicious friendly staff and food was lovely and good size portions highly recommend this place
