Glasgow restaurant
Molly Malone’s on Hope Street bills itself as Glasgow’s original Irish bar: a Belhaven / Greene King pub known for Guinness, live sport on Sky and TNT, and Irish folk, trad and rock bands from 9.30pm on Fridays and Saturdays. It sits near Theatre Royal, the Pavilion and Sauchiehall Street, so it works as a pre- or post-show pint as much as a casual meal. Food is standard pub classics with kitchen hours typically around late morning to 8.30–9pm (earlier last orders than the bar, which runs later into the evening). The venue is dog-friendly and family-friendly with high chairs and disabled access; coaches are accepted. Irish themed pub with traditional food menu. The food was very well cooked and the service was quite quick. Staff were friendly and very helpful. There are toilets for customers to use. Parking is difficult, but it is only a short walk from the subway stations.

Read on Google Maps£6.10 for a Guinness and a soft drink is not bad in my book for UK city centre prices. We were in for one around 5:30pm on a Tuesday.Chilled ambience. Good tunes at just the pefect volume. Family friendly. Guinness not bad for UK. Better than some bars in Ireland I could name!
Read on Google MapsGood atmosphere. The bar itself has a good vibe. I was greeted by a wonderful member of staff (not sure of his name but he was a very tall man with glasses and a mullet). He helped clear my table and was amazing at helping me order. He is a credit to the staff there and I would come back to the bar due to his excellent service. Would recommend!
