Lazord Syrian Street Food

Only had a fiver on me, but still slapped me up a chicken shawarma. Super friendly staff and really quick service. Shawarma was well spiced, wee bit citrusy which I appreciated a lot. Didn’t feel like a default kebab. Shop is quite small and not the nicest to sit in. But definitely worth a visit for a cracking shawarma.

Absolutely delicious. We shared a whole rotisserie chicken between 3, came with chips, bread, salad, sauce…. I’ll be dreaming about that rotisserie chicken forever

The best Syrian style shawarma I’ve tried in Glasgow. The best Falafel as well. Always wanted to try the chicken and rice as it looks tempting on the tables, but I end up ordering the shawarma. I have been here countless times that I owe the place a review. Although the place is humble and small, the quality and flavor are unmatched. It also has the warmth that other places lack. It is a place that lift the spirit when feelings of homesickness hit. Every time my friends and I came here, we found the same welcoming atmosphere, the people of Lazord always make our experience comfortable. The Quality of the food has been always great and consistent. Simply the best 🌟

The food was delicious, with generous portions. It's the best Shawarma I've had in Scotland, prepared in an authentic Syrian style. While slightly salty and rich, it melts in your mouth. The salads and French fries are fantastic. The prices are quite reasonable, though they don't accept card payments—but the warm and friendly staff more than make up for it. Overall, a great experience that I’d happily return for.

We had our first taste of Syrian food while visiting Glasgow, and it was absolutely incredible.
