We were here as a party of 9. Food was amazing. Any Pizzete and Mario's fluffy fix are highly recommended. Good choice of wines and cocktails and really prompt service throughout. It was very busy but not too noisy.

Overview
La Vita Spuntini on Gordon Street is the city-centre sister to the Byres Road Spuntini, opened October 2018 by Mario Arcari and his father as the family’s fifth Glasgow restaurant. Opposite Central Station, it spreads over two floors (about 125 covers) with a central cocktail bar — Italian small plates (spuntini), pasta, pizza and a gin/whisky list alongside the usual wines. The pitch is sharing and family-friendly rather than white tablecloth: daytime taster menus (any three small dishes), pizza/pasta lunch deals, and full à la carte. Gluten-free pasta (allow ~15 minutes) and GF pizza bases (+£1) are available; specialty pasta can’t be made GF. Vegetarian and vegan menus listed on booking platforms. In 2022 Spuntini Gordon Street won Favourite Italian Business at the Scottish Italian Awards. Book via Dish Cult or 0141 221 4040. Sister sites include Spuntini Byres Road, La Vita George Square / Bishopbriggs, Piccolino e Vino and Barrachnie.
Reviews
Gorgeous food. Came with a work party of 12 of us and staff were lovely and very efficient considering our party size. Would definitely come back on my next visit to the city!
Read on Google MapsLovely restaurant with a reasonably cheap tapas menu of Italian food. We sat outside in the sun and the staff were really friendly and efficient. Food was great. I loved the meat balls. Inside is very well laid out and cocktails looked great.
Read on Google MapsA unique and incredible find in Glasgow. Great location next to central station, beautiful interior decor and the food was delicious. It's great that they have an option of a tasting menu for a really affordable price! We walked in without making a reservation and they were able to fit us in without any hassle.
Read on Google MapsI visited this restaurant based on a recommendation from our tour guide, and it exceeded all expectations. It’s a fantastic Italian restaurant with exceptional food and a wonderful atmosphere. We tried the fish pasta, bruschetta, and risotto — all of which were absolutely delicious and served with generous Parmesan cheese. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable dining experience!
