Glasgow Hootenanny

This is a casual pub with great food provided by a couple of street vendors. The pizza were amazing and the loaded fries very good, they catered for our GF people and were so great to deal with for our big group. We would come back again. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Great place.

Slightly raucous and always very busy. It’s right beside the underground so attracts a lot of subcrawl groups, football fans and hens and stags. Huge beer garden and loads of indoor seating, showing sports and serving food. Lots of pleasant serving staff. It’s a pretty big bustly venue for its central location. It’s not really the kind of place to go for a quiet catch up with friends, more a quick pit stop to refuel or regroup before continuing the festivities.

We had a wee Christmas night in here with people from my work, the staff were absolutely brilliant and very quick to serve, we done pizzas and burgers with some sides, food was so good and was well presented in cardboard food boxes. Both food and drink were reasonably priced for the toon centre. Live entertainment was great, Johnny Barr and his guitar had the place rocking. Was a great atmosphere.

Popped in for a drink and was welcomed with great music and a lovely atmosphere.

Staff do great service! Good pints, good vibes. I got loaded chips and kind of expected them to be soggy and awful lol, but they arrived really fresh and hot with a good sauce ratio, the chicken and chips kept crispy for ages so i was very pleasantly surprised :)
