Domino's Pizza - Glasgow - Merchant City

When I first entered the Domino’s Pizza restaurant, no one came to the counter. The staff just stood and looked from a distance without taking any orders. There was also a clear lack of hygiene — I saw employees without hairnets, including a woman with relatively long hair, handling food ingredients directly with their hands without wearing gloves or using any tools. We left immediately, and I will definitely never visit this place again.

I usually enjoy Domino’s, but this branch didn’t meet expectations on my recent visit. I had concerns about cleanliness and service. The counter appeared untidy, and it seemed that food was handled directly without gloves/tongs and without visible hair coverings, with staff working very close to the food. I also wasn’t greeted or served for some time after entering. I would welcome improvements in hygiene practices and customer interaction at this branch.

I am beyond outraged by the treatment I received from Domino's during my recent order. The delivery driver made an unnecessary stop before reaching me and then refused to bring my food to my door, insisting I come down to the street to collect it. He stated that his manager told him not to deliver to my door, which is completely unacceptable. As a result, I had to walk all the way up the street to get my food, which was already losing heat in the bag. I ended up with £54 worth of cold food that was inedible after having to walk back up the street with my food being hit by the cold wind. When I called the store to speak with the manager, I encountered a horrendous attitude. He had no concern for my situation and offered a series of excuses—first claiming drivers were too exhausted, then saying they were short-staffed, and finally stating it was too busy. He even suggested that if I wanted my food, I should go pick it up myself! There was no empathy for my cold food, and the manager's tone was incredibly dismissive. The call ended with him saying I could complain if I wanted and then hanging up on me. This entire experience has left me furious and disappointed. I expected better from Domino's, and I certainly won't be ordering again anytime soon.

Absolutely ridiculous, refusal to deliver to block of flats, manager says that despite 1 in 5 of their orders coming from this development that it is TOO MUCH WORK for their drivers to get out of their car and get in a lift to deliver. His exact words “the drivers get exhausted” doing the job they’re paid to do. Instead force on street collection. The rudest and most incompetent manager we have ever spoken to on the phone with absolutely zero effort to resolve the situation. Cold food due to their new delivery policy that if you live in a flat; despite their being private parking, their couriers will rather sit in their car letting your food get cold until you collect it than bring it to your door. DO NOT ADVERTISE DELIVERY IF IT’S BASICALLY KERB SIDE COLLECTION. The managers answer “if you don’t like it, tough, you can collect it from the store. This is just how it is for your building. No answer as to how every other delivery service will do their actual job and deliver to the door, the most rude and dismissive man we have ever spoken to. Would love if the one in five orders made to them from this development. stopped ordering from them because they don’t deserve our business.

Ordered a delivery for couple of pizzas, some sides from this branch few times now and can’t fault it at anything. The delivery time was 20 mins and the pizzas that came were cooked to perfection and were piping hot. We have asked for a half n half pizzas and got we asked for. Customer service was really good with the staff being really helpful in giving out suggestion so a big shout to the night staff. Will definitely order again.
