Place small but quaint inside. There on Saturday 4.1.25. food ok but the Pappardella not up to much. The glazed beef the meat did taste nice but the sauce ruined it so much so we called for the bill very quickly. I was feeling awful so did not check the bill the waiter asked me to check but my fault I desperately wanted home. I offered a tip and he said it's ok you have already paid. I normative 10% we'll always do. However when I got home they had taken £7.13, 12.5%tip and £1 for their chosen charity. I am outraged at this. I have my own charities I support and I don't give 12.5%. Staff deserve to be paid a proper wage and given the prices on their menu they should be able to do that. Will never go back, cannot recommend it and would advise folk to check and only pay these additional charges if you feel it's correct. I will in future no matter how ill I feel better checking bills as I visit a restaurant at least once a week and this is the first I've had a service charge added. Yes the bill does clearly state it's discretionary putting the onus on the diner to say no to the poor staff member.

Had an absolutely stunning meal here last night. It’s now my favourite restaurant in Glasgow. The upstairs dining room is so beautiful and has such a wonderful atmosphere - there is nowhere like it in the city. Lovely rustic decor, great background music, and candlelight helps create a relaxed atmosphere. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and recommended a lovely white wine. The two pasta dishes we had were the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had - just an amazing combination of flavours and textures. Lots of options for vegetarians and pescatarians. A really special place and perfect for a romantic date or to celebrate a special occasion.

Popped in for lunch on a Sunday while exploring the cathedral. The price felt a little steep for a two course meal (it was a fixed price menu on sundays) but the food really blew us away. It was beautiful and delicious. Have recommended to our Glasgow guide. One of our best dining experiences in Scotland!

We came across this place while we were looking around the cathedral. We thought it was an Italian restaurant and so it will have Italian dishes along with good service and well dressed staff. But in reality it was totally opposite. The menu was very different and barely had any Italian touch and dishes. We went on Sunday and they had a set menu which was not really an English menu nor Italian. Atmosphere was posh with a candle lit on every table but some of the staff were in shorts which I find very unusual. We ordered vegetarian pasta which was tasty and different. However the overall experience didn't meet the expectation. Plus if you are not an Italian restaurant then don't name it as an Italian restaurant.

Amazing Italian cuisine with a twist by a South African.chef. Great experience from antipasti to desserts. Eva is an impeccable host and Dave a great cocktail mixer, Dirty Martini not to be missed.
