Buck’s Bar Trongate (opened 2019) is the biggest of the Buck’s fried-chicken group — upstairs, downstairs, and what they call the largest beer garden in the Merchant City. The pitch is buttermilk fried chicken, Nashville heat, burgers, wings, cocktails and bourbon, with live music every Saturday from 8pm. Open daily roughly noon–midnight; food until about 10.30pm. Chicken burgers land around £17–18; wings from about £8 for four. Express lunch Mon–Fri, cocktail deals early week. Book on OpenTable — late bookings are drinks-only after 9.45pm Sun–Thu / 10pm Fri–Sat. Under-18s until 10pm; dog-friendly; ask about wheelchair access or prams when booking. Halal chicken available on request; non-gluten ingredient menu exists. St Enoch Subway and Argyle Street are a short walk; handy before Barrowlands or eastbound nights out.
Managed to get a table last evening with my son. What a great decision. Cracking we table on the first floor, we were phenomenally looked after by Faye, a total charmer. We followed her recommendations and were not disappointed. Buffalo wings and the Country Boy Chicken Burger, superb. Accompanied by a few pints of Staropramen, get on! Great venue, great food, great service. Bravo 👏.

Read on Google MapsHate traveling to another country and eating food from home but we didn't want to wander far from the hotel and comfort food for our last night in Scotland sounded wonderful. Couldn't be happier with the choice. They know how to do fried chicken really well! Moist but crispy with lots of options. Think you will be pleased.
Read on Google MapsGreat service from the second we went in, my wife wasn't sure she'd like buttermilk chicken so the waiter went and got a small piece for her to try and of course she loved it. I can't actually believe the size of the chicken burgers, everything was amazing and it's ridiculously cheap for what you get. We'll definitely be back.
