Blackfriars of Bell Street

I went here for their pub quiz which was great! Definitely recommend booking a table for the quiz a day in advance as it was fully booked when we arrived but kindly, they managed to fit us in. Staff are all lovely and the selection of drinks is good. Nice atmosphere

Not a patch on what it used to be, not even one real ale was on tap, all unavailable and this was on a Saturday lunchtime. Bar staff pleasant enough. Gents toilets door missing its handle so you had to stick your finger into the hole to pull the door open to get back out to bar. Poor.

An excellent pub, especially when taking into consideration the staff. We had an event that needed setting up in the basement. One of the members of staff, Suzie, was incredibly helpful in getting us set up and ready for our event, she was also very accomodating for any req uests we had. I truly appreciate her efforts.

Nice place,we went on a Sunday to see a comedian called Stuart Mitchell who was excellent,we then went to the bar and listened to live music, atmosphere was great although very busy which I suppose is a good thing. Drink was around £15 for a pint of lager and a glass of wine. Did take time to get served which was a little annoying

Staff working hard on a Saturday . Very busy . Music could have been a bit lower as everyone was having to shout ., but it's a good pub with plenty of quiz nights and music and something on most nights . Did not try food another vist Dec 2024 , staff working well
