Stopped by for lunch while at work, got the lunchtime deal, which had the best chips I've had in AGES,served with a smile and some good banter by the lovely Katie, who also had the tunes playing on the big screen. Great vibes and you'll not get friendlier service anywhere. 11 out of 10! 😁

Only time I go into this chippy is when Katie is working. This lady is the absolute best. She's goes about and beyond for her customers & does the best fritters. She's a absolute credit to this place. Every chippy should have a wee Katie she's a wee diamond 💎💎💎

Quick turn around. Friendly staff. Old signs still up confusing when looking at sign but on other wall they are available.

Can't believe the prices now charged here or the portion reduction since the new owners took over. Been going to this chippy for 10 years plus, won't be seeing my custom again, £4.95 for what is described as large chips (2 to 3 scoops and 2 of the smallest fritters I ever saw. Also the service has declined and it feels like the no longer appreciate the business. Sorry state for what was one of the best local chippies around

Zero stars is more suited. Used to visit regularly for my portion of chips and visited again today after years of absence. Noticed it's being run by unfamiliar faces. Biggest regret! The chips which was ordered as a large was a tiny portion, the chips were cold despite being a 2 minute drive away. It was disgustingly greasy and now have a sore bloated stomach because of it. They ran out of certain food and didn't even know what was served on the menu. The worst ever chippy I've ever eaten. Will never step foot in this place again, should have went elsewhere.
