Zen Chinese Takeaway

Banging food. Made it rapid. Young guy who served us was good and quick to the point. Class value for money.

Thought I'd try them. My review is based on the online menu being way out of date. I walked in expecting to pay £7.00 for a dish. However it was £8.50. The guy pointed to a sign stating a recent 50p price rise and no control over some costs. I understand that,but why did the menu say my dish was £7.20 in the shop? That would make it £7.70. stating the menu needed reprinting is not a good enough answer. I've read their response. Just to add, there is a chinese takeaway up the road, PI, it is so much cheaper up the road and the food is great!

LOVE Zen Lunchtime Menu. I always get the Salt and Chill Chicken with Fried Rice. Simply delicious, full of flavors, and really good price (only £4 for lunchtime!!!)

It's 1 of the best I'm n city center trongate, not many venture out th8s way, when they do they get a greet n always a big tip

I moved away from the area 3 years ago. To England, of all places 😔 To say the Chinese food here is horrific, would be an understatement. I literally mourn the loss of my Zen takeaway. The food was always fresh, hot, tasty & delivered fast. To the people moaning about the lady who takes the order lol I loved her no nonsense, down to business attitude. Counting down the days to my next trip home and my first meal there will be form Zen.
