The Dessert Kings on Alexandra Parade is the Dennistoun branch of a Johnstone dessert-and-fast-food shop, not a Chinese restaurant despite the Google tag. Glasgow Live (March 2024) reported the second branch at 652 Alexandra Parade, aiming to open in April 2024, after the Johnstone High Street shop won Best Dessert Shop Renfrewshire. The concept mixes desserts (waffles, crepes, milkshakes, sundaes, churros, doughnuts, ice cream) with savoury fast food — especially “famous” loaded fries, plus burgers, wings, wraps, rice boxes and tacos. Uber Eats listed Glasgow hours around noon–22:00/22:45 but marked the store closed on that platform from 31 October 2024. The brand website and online ordering currently push Johnstone (and a Wembley site); phone on the Glasgow Google listing is 0141 378 0909. Worth checking in person or by phone before travelling: FHRS at 652 Alexandra Parade is now recorded under Margherita Pizzaria (Improvement Required, inspection 11 March 2026), which suggests the unit may have changed hands. Duke Street or Alexandra Parade railway stations serve Dennistoun.

Been waiting 3 hours for delivery phoned shop about 6 times to be told food out for delivery now I ordered this just before 8 it’s not past 11 and still no food in site £40 order down the drain definitely won’t be ordering from here again and will be making sure all friends and family are aware to boycott
