Delicious food and peaceful atmosphere! We had pasta and risotto — both were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The starters were tasty, and the desserts were absolutely delicious. The server was kind, attentive, and genuinely lovely. Prices are very reasonable, and the quiet, family-friendly vibe makes it such a pleasant place to relax and enjoy a great meal. Highly recommended!
Read on Google MapsWe got a Groupon deal for 2. Pizza or pasta, up to the value of £8.50, and 2 soft drinks. Our server didn't seem to understand Scots Leid, or very much English once we changed how we spoke and tried to be very clear. Most of the responses we got from him were "ok". My boyfriend tried to ask if he could use the £8.50 for a pizza and pay the rest, as he ordered a pizza which was larger. However the server took this as LITERALLY larger so we were charged £3.50 more than intended for the pizza. We ordered bruschetta al pomodoro which was packed with tomatoes, and we were overcharged by £0.05. Check my receipt and the photo of the menu! It's not really so much of a big deal, but it's the principle that counts. We didn't bring it up because we just wanted to leave. My pasta with mussels was very nice, and I was happy with it! My boyfriend also got a Merlot wine which he enjoyed, though it tasted cheap, but it was a big glass for the price, so we can't complain. The atmosphere was... awkward to say the least, with servers just standing staring at us. Overall this place has good value for money, but I am unsure if I would return.
Read on Google MapsA truly divine experience. First Love this restaurant, such excellent pasta. Have tried a few different dishes now and been on different days- never queued longer than 15 minutes and always had good service fine dining. Had the tasting menu and thoroughly enjoyed all dishes. Staff were very friendly.
Read on Google MapsFOREIGNERS AVOID, absolute SCAM. Came with four friends and after paying we realised the bill was higher than stated on the menu. When we asked why, this Indian guy said that the menu changed and the new menus were arriving tomorrow. Total bull, especially since when we tried talking to the lady waiter instead, she said it’s a sitting price. They could not even get their stories right. After complaining, the Indian guy just tossed two pounds on the table and told us to leave. Absolute rubbish and scam. Check my photos, the price on the menu for lasagna is 6.20 and the price for fish and chips is 6.50. But in the receipt they charged 6.50 for lasagna and 7.95 for fish and chips. They didn’t even blame it as a tax.
Read on Google MapsWe went here with a 2 course Groupon deal. I couldn't believe the range of choices on the menu. We had arancini for starters, two good sized arancini, we then chose a past & pizza dish each & shared. The portions were so big we couldn't finish them & quality of food was excellent. I will definitely be back and can't recommend eating here highly enough. Family run restaurant by husband & wife team from Luca in Italy, definitely well worth a visit!👍
