We had high expectations for Magic Spice Takeaway, but my experience was quite disappointing. We ordered two pizzas: one Spicy Chicken and one Chicken Pizza. The Chicken Pizza was bland and lacked seasoning. As for the Spicy Chicken Pizza, it was incredibly salty—so much so that it was inedible and a complete turn-off. The service was also lacking. The guy serving us had a noticeable attitude. Being in the hospitality industry myself, I know what customers expect, and this fell short. There were no printed menus available; instead, we were told to look up the menu on their website. When we asked for recommendations, the staff was unhelpful and simply stated that all their pizzas were good, with the Spicy Chicken being the most popular. Given how overly salty it was, this recommendation was far from satisfactory. Overall, a sad and disappointing experience. I expected better.

The guy was lovely and the food was great, very well balanced spices in the Korma and the munchy box was delicious. The chips were delicious and tasted like the ones you used to get instead of the flimsy crap ones at most Indian takeaways now. The doner was juicy and moist and the chicken pakora was lovely.
