Millcroft

My first time in Glasgow. I assumed it would be like any other place I visited while in Scotland (Im from Portugal). I was wrong. If you want good food and drinks this is a good place, like any other, but if the atmosphere is what you are looking for this is the place for you. I had one thing in mind when entering this pub, which was to simply watch a football game, but I cannot express how much I am to thank fate for ending up here. The staff was very friendly and even more were the people around me. Some of the nicest people I have ever met while in here and even back home. They took me and my family in almost, talked to us in the most friendly manner possible, gave us tips for our holidays and were the very kind and welcoming people. Never did I expect this warm atmosphere and welcome. I am forever grateful. My only regret was not taking a picture with them, but I will save that moment in my head forever. I hope this message reaches anyone wanting a pub to eat, drink and watch sports and get along with the staff and locals. I also hope it reaches the gentlemen that welcomed us to the friendly atmosphere of Glasgow.

My daughter’s 21st birthday party was held at this venue last night. 17/08/2024. I have to say it was an amazing night. The venue itself in my opinion can not be beaten for price and value. The hall is perfect, great layout, big dance floor and also has a balcony for smokers. The manager Steven was extremely helpful from the first contact 4 months before the event all the way through to the end of the event. Always available to answer any questions. The Venue supplied the DJ and he was brilliant, he kept the party atmosphere going the entire night and the dance floor was always full with people enjoying his great choice of music. As for the bar staff, we were lucky enough to have 2 lovely ladies taking care of us. Alison & Sophie they were outstanding, so professional as well as going above and beyond to make sure everyone had the best night possible. I can not compliment these ladies enough. If you are planning a celebration in the near future please do yourself a favour speak to Steven and book the Millcroft for your party. You will not regret it. If you are lucky enough you will have Alison & Sophie taking care of you and your guests. I have gave the millcroft a rating of 5 stars on each section, however if I could I would give them a much higher rating. Thank you Steven, Alison & Sophie for making my Daughters 21st even more memorable. I look forward to the next celebration I attend at your fine establishment. 👍👍

Had a great time at a baby shower this afternoon, Alison was the most amazing bar staff and all round lovely person couldn't as for any better, now going to book my 40th requesting Alison to be my bar staff ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We got a prawn biryani to go and it was very good! We met some great locals when waiting for our food, that gave us walk recommendations. Would recommend!

It's alright for a local boozer. 2 function suites upstairs, 1 small and 1 larger. Downstairs 1 fairly large lounge and 1 fairly large bar. Popular for karaoke 🎤 at the weekends and even more popular because there is a betting shop right next door. There doesn't seem to be any permanent staff behind the bar in the lounge but there is a bell to summon staff through from the bar. Prices are reasonable for the area considering there are plenty of other pubs in the vicinity...
