Overview
iCafe Bridgeton is the East End branch of Glasgow’s long-running coffee-house chain, opened 1 March 2025 at 621 London Road beside Bridgeton library. Expect the same formula as Ingram Street and Woodlands: house-blend coffee (roasted weekly), signature lattes, smoothies, all-day breakfast, wraps, pizza and cakes, with free Wi‑Fi and QR ordering for laptop work or a catch-up. All food is halal and prepared from their central kitchen. Founder Umer Ashraf Malik built the brand from the mid-2000s; LinkedIn lists Customer Excellence and Great Taste awards for earlier years, and he won Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2012 Scottish Asian Business Awards. Opening hours at launch were 7:30–18:30 weekdays and 9:00–17:00 weekends (Uber/Google listings sometimes close a little earlier — confirm before you go). We have a new cafe in Bridgeton, an iCafe. Serves tea, coffee, smoothies, cakes, vegan and carnivore (!) meals. There's also breakfast and other wraps and pizzas. Nice place to meet and eet !

I visited this coffee shop today and ordered a cappuccino to go. I’m very grateful to the male barista — he makes a delicious and well-balanced coffee. Unfortunately, when the female baristas prepare it, the milk is overheated, making the coffee too hot to drink right away. I had to wait half an hour for it to cool down to a comfortable temperature. Please pay attention to the milk temperature — it would be great to enjoy the coffee immediately without the risk of burning my mouth. Thank you for understanding, and I hope to see improvements! ☕️

Wifi is good. Staff are friendly and helpful. The kinda emo looking girl helped me find a better spot in the cafe with a charging port that was warmer and out of the sun. Many thanks to her.
