Alongside Indian curries, tandoori dishes and biryanis it sells pizza, Turkish kebabs, burgers, fish suppers and chips, breakfast items and European dishes, so it isn’t Indian-only. Order for collection or delivery at garngadglasgow.co.uk or through its app; delivery runs from 4pm and costs from £2. The official phone is 0141 552 3109, though some directories list 0141 552 5060. It’s open daily from 1:30pm to 11pm, with delivery from 4pm to 11pm. On the official menu, a chicken curry is £8, chicken tikka masala £12.50, chicken biryani £10.75, a 12-inch Margherita £8.99, a fish supper £11.50 and a large donner kebab £7.40. Deals include a £7.50 student tiffin and set meals from £13.50. In 2019 the Glasgow Times reported that the family-run business won permission to deliver alcohol until 10pm. The same paper reported an oven fire in 2020 that closed the shop temporarily; it’s trading again now. The FSA rates it Pass (inspected January 2025). Royston Road is served by buses including the 19 and 329, and Barnhill and Springburn are the nearest rail stations. Reviewers like the fish suppers, portion sizes and variety, but complain about late or lukewarm deliveries and incomplete orders.
Order from here pretty often and never had a bad curry until now must be new chef the whole order went in the bin. Vegetable curry was like pea soup no Vegetables in it apart from garden peas and the pakora was tasteless
Read on Google MapsGood portion size, that's where the positives end, I got chips cheese and kebab, there was no taste to it at all, the kebab was so hard and dry (like plastic) and tasted of cardboard, only thing from the chips cheese and kebab that had any taste to it was the garlic sauce but it just tasted of yogurt not garlic 🤢 Even my dog refused to eat it 🤣 If you like eating cardboard I highly suggest this place

Read on Google MapsIf you’re lucky you might get someone that understands you to take your phone order! 20 minutes and 2 phone calls tonight and they got it wrong and also got the address wrong! It took a local girl to phone me back and take the order again! My blood pressure was through the roof! I always have a problem just asking for cooked onions in curry sauce! What can be difficult about that!? Order a mushroom curry, no problem, onion curry, you’re lucky if you get the sauce!
